Official rules
EA SPORTS FC™ 26 Tournaments
These rules set out the participation conditions for the PS5 tournaments organised in the participating Shopping Cora shopping centres.
Important information
Registration for the tournament implies full acceptance of these rules. Participants must provide accurate information corresponding to their real identity.
1. Organisation
These rules apply to the PS5 tournaments organised as part of the World Cup 2026 activation in the participating Shopping Cora shopping centres.
The tournament is offered to the public by the relevant Shopping Cora.
The operational organisation of the tournaments is handled by ICS Productions, whose registered office is located at Rue de la Poterie Monseu 8, 7100 La Louvière, Belgium, VAT BE0847.603.024.
For the participant, the tournament is linked to the Shopping Cora where he or she registers and participates.
Any question or complaint relating to the tournament must first be addressed to the relevant Shopping Cora, according to the contact details or procedures communicated as part of the operation.
2. Purpose of the tournament
The tournaments consist of a competition on PlayStation 5, organised around a football video game, such as EA SPORTS FC™ 26 or an equivalent game, depending on the game actually made available on the day of the tournament.
Participants compete in individual one-on-one matches.
The winner is determined exclusively on the basis of the results obtained during the matches played on site. This is not a draw.
Participation in the tournament is free of charge.
3. Dates and locations
The tournaments are organised in the participating Shopping Cora shopping centres on the dates communicated by each Shopping Cora, in particular on 13 June 2026 and 4 July 2026.
Each tournament takes place in the animation area provided for this purpose within the relevant Shopping Cora.
The exact times are communicated during registration and in the confirmation e-mail sent to the participant.
The relevant Shopping Cora and ICS Productions reserve the right to adapt the times, organisation or course of the tournament if this is necessary for the proper running of the animation.
4. Participation conditions
The tournament is open to anyone wishing to participate, subject to valid registration, availability of time slots and compliance with these rules.
Only one registration per person is allowed for all tournaments organised as part of this activation, across all participating Shopping Cora centres and all dates.
A person registered for one tournament may therefore not register for or participate in another tournament organised as part of this activation, even in another Shopping Cora or on another date.
Any duplicate registration, attempted duplicate registration, fraudulent registration, incomplete registration, use of false details or participation not complying with these rules may result in immediate cancellation of the registration, exclusion from the tournament and/or loss of entitlement to the prize.
The information provided during registration must be accurate and correspond to the participant’s real identity.
Proof of identity may be requested when the prize is handed over. If the information entered during registration does not match the identity document presented, the participant may be excluded from receiving the prize and the prize will not be handed over.
In the event of participation by a minor, such participation is deemed to have been made with the consent of his or her legal representative. The relevant Shopping Cora or ICS Productions reserves the right to request the presence or consent of a legal representative for the handover of the prize or for any necessary formality.
5. Registration for the tournament
Registration is only possible via the link communicated by the relevant Shopping Cora.
Each registration link is specific to one Shopping Cora. The participant therefore does not choose the Shopping Cora in the form: the relevant Shopping Cora is automatically determined by the link used.
During registration, the participant must first choose the tournament date and then select an available time slot.
The participant then completes the following information: surname, first name, e-mail address, telephone number and postcode.
Registration can only be validated if the participant confirms that he or she has read and accepted these rules.
Once the time slot is reserved, it is no longer available to other participants, unless it is reopened by the relevant Shopping Cora or ICS Productions in the event of cancellation, absence, withdrawal, duplicate registration, error or a change necessary for the proper running of the tournament.
Registration is only valid after validation of the form and receipt of the confirmation e-mail.
The relevant Shopping Cora and ICS Productions reserve the right to cancel a registration if the information provided is inaccurate, inconsistent, incomplete or contrary to these rules.
6. Registration confirmation
A confirmation e-mail is sent to the participant after validation of the registration.
This e-mail includes the practical information relating to the registration, including the relevant Shopping Cora, the tournament date, the chosen time slot and the time at which the participant must arrive.
The participant must arrive at the animation area 10 minutes before the scheduled time of his or her match.
The full rules are available via the website or the registration page provided for this purpose. The participant acknowledges having read and accepted them when registering.
The e-mail address provided during registration must be correct and accessible to the participant.
The relevant Shopping Cora and ICS Productions cannot be held responsible if the e-mail address is incorrect, if the e-mail is not received, is classified as spam, blocked by the participant’s provider, deleted, not consulted in time or made inaccessible for any other reason beyond their control.
7. Number of participants and organisation of gaming stations
Each tournament is limited to a maximum of 64 participants per Shopping Cora and per date.
The tournament is organised on two separate PS5 gaming stations. Each station consists of a PlayStation 5 console, a screen and the equipment required for the proper running of the matches.
Each PS5 gaming station can accommodate 32 participants.
The winners from the two PS5 gaming stations then face each other in a final to determine the final winner of the tournament for the relevant Shopping Cora.
When the maximum number of participants is reached, registrations may be closed.
The relevant Shopping Cora and ICS Productions may, if they so wish, provide a waiting list, reopen a time slot or replace an absent participant with a person present on site.
8. Attendance, lateness and forfeiture
The participant must be present in the animation area 10 minutes before the scheduled time of his or her match.
If the participant is not present when called to play, he or she may be considered to have forfeited.
In the event of forfeiture, absence or lateness, the relevant Shopping Cora or ICS Productions may, without the participant being entitled to claim anything, allocate his or her place to another person, automatically declare the opponent the winner, change the schedule, adapt the course of the tournament or cancel the participant’s participation.
A participant who is absent, late or declared to have forfeited loses any right to participate in the relevant tournament and may not claim any compensation, indemnity, refund, postponement, new participation or other benefit.
9. Tournament format
Participants compete in individual matches on the football video game used as part of the animation.
Each match is played between two participants. The winner of the match moves on to the next round. The loser is eliminated from the tournament.
The tournament continues until the final between the two winners from the two PS5 gaming stations.
The winner of this final is designated as the tournament winner for the relevant Shopping Cora.
10. Match settings
The match settings are defined by ICS Productions to ensure a fair and smooth running of the tournament, compatible with the timing constraints of the animation.
Unless otherwise decided on site, matches are played in one-on-one format, with a duration of 3 minutes per half, i.e. 6 minutes of gameplay in total.
Each time slot is designed to allow the match to be launched, played, the result entered and the next match started.
ICS Productions reserves the right to adapt the game settings, available teams, tie-break rules, durations or any other technical element if this is necessary for the proper running of the tournament.
Participants accept the settings defined on site and may not impose their own settings, teams, game preferences, personal parameters or personal equipment.
11. Tie at the end of a match
In the event of a tie at the end of regular time, the winner will be determined according to the rule set on site, for example by direct penalties, extra time or any other available game setting.
The same rule will apply to participants in the same tournament, except in the event of technical necessity or a decision related to the proper running of the event.
12. Validation of results
At the end of each match, the score is noted and entered by the animation team.
Once the result has been validated, the winner qualifies for the next round.
In the event of an obvious entry error, technical problem, dispute, breakdown, challenge or unforeseen situation, the relevant Shopping Cora or ICS Productions reserve the right to correct the result, replay a match, resume a match, declare a forfeiture or take any useful decision to ensure the proper running of the tournament.
Decisions relating to the organisation, running, results, forfeitures, replacements and designation of the winner are final.
13. Display of participants and results
For the proper running of the tournament, a match tracking table may be displayed on site and/or made available online.
This table may mention the information required for the organisation and follow-up of the tournament, including the participant’s first name and surname or, if the relevant Shopping Cora or ICS Productions so decide, the first name followed by the initial of the surname.
This display allows participants, the animation team and the public to follow the matches, results, qualifications, upcoming matches and final winner.
By validating his or her registration, the participant accepts this display strictly within the framework of the running of the tournament.
No e-mail address, telephone number, postcode or other personal data not necessary for the follow-up of the tournament will be displayed publicly.
14. Participant behaviour
Each participant undertakes to behave correctly, respectfully and fairly.
It is prohibited to disrupt the tournament, insult or threaten anyone, damage the equipment provided, cheat, deliberately use a bug, refuse to follow instructions or behave in a dangerous, inappropriate manner or in a way that is contrary to the spirit of the animation.
Any behaviour deemed inappropriate may result in the immediate exclusion of the participant, without any possibility of complaint, compensation, postponement or new participation.
In the event of intentional damage to equipment, the relevant Shopping Cora or ICS Productions reserve the right to claim compensation from the responsible participant or from his or her legal representative if the participant is a minor.
15. Equipment used
The gaming equipment is made available as part of the animation.
It includes PlayStation 5 consoles, controllers, screens, the football video game used and the technical elements required for the proper running of the tournament.
Participants may not use their own equipment, unless expressly authorised on site.
The PlayStation 5 consoles used as part of the animation are new at the start of the tournaments. They are used only for the purposes of the animation and are then handed over to the winners according to the terms set out in these rules.
16. Prize
The final winner of the tournament organised in each Shopping Cora wins the PlayStation 5 console put into play as part of the animation of the relevant Shopping Cora.
The consoles are new at the start of the tournaments. They are used during the animation and then handed over to the winners in accordance with these rules.
The prize is personal, non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be converted into cash.
No refund, exchange, compensation, postponement or replacement may be required by the winner.
The relevant Shopping Cora or ICS Productions nevertheless reserve the right to replace the prize with an equivalent prize in the event of an impossibility beyond their control.
17. Prize handover terms
For tournaments organised on 13 June 2026, the winner must return on 4 July 2026 at 6:00 p.m. to the Shopping Cora where he or she participated in order to collect the prize.
For tournaments organised on 4 July 2026, the winner will collect the prize directly on site at the end of the tournament.
These terms are mandatory. If the winner does not attend at the date, time and place scheduled for the handover of the prize, the prize will be considered abandoned.
The winner will then definitively lose any right to the prize and may not claim any compensation, indemnity, postponement, exchange or alternative handover method.
Proof of identity will be requested when the prize is handed over.
If the information on the identity document does not match the information entered during registration, the prize will not be handed over.
The winner may be asked to sign a document acknowledging receipt of the prize.
18. Photos, videos and image rights
As part of the animation, photos and/or videos may be taken within the relevant Shopping Cora.
These images may be used to illustrate the general atmosphere of the event, the animation area, participants playing, prize handovers or communication around the operation.
By participating in the tournament, the participant is informed that atmosphere images may be taken and used for communication, promotion and illustration purposes by the relevant Shopping Cora, ICS Productions or their partners linked to the operation.
When the participant is clearly identifiable and is the main subject of the photo or video, in particular during a prize handover or a posed photo, specific consent may be requested.
For minor participants, the consent of a legal representative may be requested for any use of an identifiable or posed image.
If a participant does not wish to appear in identifiable images used as part of the communication around the operation, he or she must send a written request to the relevant Shopping Cora, specifying surname, first name, participation date and the relevant Shopping Cora.
General atmosphere images, crowd shots or images in which the participant is not the main subject may be used as part of the general communication around the event.
19. Personal data
The data collected during registration is used for the organisation, management and follow-up of the tournament.
It may be used to manage registrations, confirm time slots, contact participants if necessary, organise matches, display the tournament table, identify winners, verify their identity, hand over prizes and manage any questions or complaints relating to the operation.
The data may be processed by the relevant Shopping Cora, ICS Productions and the technical tools strictly necessary for the management of the animation.
By validating his or her registration and accepting these rules, the participant acknowledges that the use of his or her data is necessary for participation in the tournament and for the proper running of the operation.
The data will not be displayed publicly other than the information strictly necessary for the follow-up of the tournament, as provided for in the clause relating to the display of the tournament table.
Participants have the rights provided for by the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data, including the right of access, rectification and, where applicable, deletion of their data, within the limits compatible with the management of the tournament, proof of participation, prize handover and applicable legal obligations.
Any request relating to personal data must be addressed to the relevant Shopping Cora, according to the contact details or procedures communicated as part of the operation.
20. Commercial communications from Shopping Cora
During registration, the participant may agree to receive by e-mail commercial communications, information, news, offers or invitations relating to future actions organised by the relevant Shopping Cora and/or by the participating Shopping Cora shopping centres.
This consent is given via a specific checkbox, separate from acceptance of these rules and separate from acceptance of the processing of data necessary for the organisation of the tournament.
This checkbox is optional and must not be pre-ticked.
Refusal to receive commercial communications does not prevent participation in the tournament, provided that the other participation conditions are met.
If the participant accepts these communications, his or her e-mail address and the data necessary for this sending may be used by the relevant Shopping Cora and/or the participating Shopping Cora centres to send communications relating to their actions, events, offers or news.
The participant may withdraw consent or unsubscribe from commercial communications according to the procedures indicated in the e-mails received or by contacting the relevant Shopping Cora.
21. Liability
Participation in the tournament is under the responsibility of the participant or, if the participant is a minor, under the responsibility of his or her legal representative.
Within the limits permitted by law, the relevant Shopping Cora and ICS Productions cannot be held liable for damages, losses, incidents, delays, errors, interruptions, cancellations, postponements, changes, technical problems, computer problems, connection problems, registration errors, incorrect information provided by a participant, absences, lateness, forfeits, exclusions, equipment breakdowns, force majeure or events beyond their control that may directly or indirectly affect the running of the tournament.
The relevant Shopping Cora and ICS Productions reserve the right to modify, suspend, postpone, shorten or cancel all or part of the tournament if circumstances so require.
Within the limits permitted by law, no compensation, indemnity, refund, exchange, postponement, damages or consideration may be claimed by a participant, winner or any other person due to a change, cancellation, suspension, interruption, exclusion, forfeit, delay, absence, failure to hand over the prize under the conditions provided for, or any other event directly or indirectly linked to the tournament.
This clause is not intended to exclude any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
22. Modification, suspension or cancellation
The relevant Shopping Cora and ICS Productions reserve the right, at any time and without prior notice, to modify, suspend, postpone, shorten or cancel all or part of the tournament if circumstances so require.
This may in particular be the case in the event of a technical problem, unavailability of equipment, excessive attendance, safety issue, force majeure, a constraint imposed by the relevant Shopping Cora or any other event beyond their control.
Participants accept that these decisions will not give rise to any compensation, indemnity or complaint, within the limits permitted by law.
23. Complaints and disputes
Any question or complaint relating to the tournament must first be addressed to the relevant Shopping Cora, according to the contact details or procedures communicated as part of the operation.
Any complaint must be made in writing within a reasonable period from the disputed event and must contain the information required to identify the participant, the relevant Shopping Cora, the tournament date and the precise subject of the dispute.
Complaints that are manifestly unfounded, late, incomplete or do not clearly identify the relevant participation may not be processed.
The relevant Shopping Cora and ICS Productions reserve the right to examine any complaint and to take any decision they deem necessary in light of these rules, the proper running of the tournament, the available information and the circumstances of the event.
Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute relating to the tournament will be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with Belgian law and the applicable mandatory rules.
24. Acceptance of the rules
Participation in the tournament implies full and unconditional acceptance of these rules.
The participant acknowledges having read the rules during registration.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in cancellation of the registration, exclusion from the tournament, loss of entitlement to the prize or any other decision deemed necessary by the relevant Shopping Cora or ICS Productions.
25. Contact
For any question relating to the tournament, participants may contact the animation team on site or use the contact details communicated by the relevant Shopping Cora as part of the operation.
